Found!: {Silver Chunky Link Bracelets}

A little late night browsing (just checking to see if there are anymore good “cyber monday” deals to be had), and I stumble upon these @ Net-A-Porter‘s “End of Season Sale”.

As I mentioned earlier today, I am on the hunt

….and I believe the hunt has ended  my peeps.

{Giles & Brother Giant Multi-Chain Bracelet, $175 $80}

{Isabel Marant John silver-tone brass chain bracelets, $220 $110}

Does this mean I’m going to be sooo last year? ;)

Emma Watson for Marie Claire 2010

When I brought home the latest issue of Marie Claire, I didn’t have to look far to find style & outfit inspiration.

The front cover of Emma Watson alone had me wanting see more!

I totally fell in love with her editorial spread, and not to mention her adorably edgy pixie cut!

I am now on the hunt for some large silver chain link bracelets & necklaces!

Hopefully I can find some at a more affordable price point than the Janis Savitt pieces that Emma wore.

The bloomer shorts by Minnie Mortimer that Miss Watson sported (3rd image) were so adorable (not to mention affordable @ $70!) that I had to hunt them down! And I discovered that designer Minnie Mortimer has an online shop, but of course by that time almost every piece was sold out!

And yes, of course the bloomer shorts too.

Happy Monday Lovelies!

I actually get to go to only one job today! ;)

Black Friday. Not So Black.

Hello Lovelies!

How was your Thanksgiving holiday, and post holiday?

The hubby and I had our own little Thanksgiving together, and he cooked everything from scatch! ….except the pies.

I had no clue that he was going to do that?! And everything turned out DEEE-LICIOUS! He did such an amazing job and I couldn’t have been more grateful.

Thank you Honey.

My little sister stopped by and hung out with us for a little bit, but for the most part it was just “us”. Which was fine, it was nice to have a little intimate holiday without the hectic craziness of trying to go and see everyone in one day.

After dinner we watched Toy Story 3, and nursed our food coma with pecan & chocolate cream pie! ;)

So on the infamous “Black Friday” I worked in Wonderland. Hey, it’s the beauty of working in the retail biz! I did work the opening shift, so I wasn’t there for the madness that I imagine that did end up happening, because when we opened, it was actually not too bad? Which I was kinda surprised about, but I guess it makes sense because we aren’t a “Black Friday” kinda store. We don’t have the big sales like other large retailers do. But I just assumed because people would already be out & about shopping that herds of them would end up in our store!

After my shift, which ended nice and early, and left me time to enjoy the rest of my day,

I couldn’t wait to get home and…

make myself a nice helping of leftovers! It was just as delicious the next day.

Trust me. :)

While I ate to my hearts content, Mo did this

I did end up giving her a few morsels of turkey.

I tried my hand at the tri-pod again so I could show you a few of new purchases! Remember this, and this?

And of course again I couldn’t get the darn camera to focus!

While I was taking my pictures, my neighbor pulled up into the parking lot (I was so emabarassed, but tried not to show it.), and asked him if he could focus the camera for me, which he was nice enough to do. Thanks Kev! ;)

And I was able to get some clear close-up shots.

Thank goodness something was in focus! Ha!

And after he left, it was back to this…

Oh well.

In any case, I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving, and maybe even scored some fab deals post holiday.

I did end up going to the city after my shift and getting a few things. And my intention was to exchange (which I wasn’t able to) and return (which I did), and ended up with 3 more new things!

I was on the hunt for a faux fur vest, which Zara had, but of course not in my size! I almost purchased some booties instead from there.

Almost.

Ha, ha!

Warm & Cozy: The Perfect Living Room

Came across this photo @ Delight by Design, and instantly I was transported to somewhere warm & cozy!

It’s been a bit chilly here in the Bay, the wind bites, and my nose & hands instantly ice cubes! I know what you East coasters are thinking, “What whimps! You have no clue what cold is!

And guess what? You’re right.

I get cold when it’s 60 degrees outside. Ha! ;)

I just stared at this photo imagining myself curled up on the couch, huddled under a cozy blanket with the sounds of a crackling fire, sippin on  a cup of hot apple cider, browsing through a few of my favorite fashion mags, and Mochi purring beside me.

….while the hubby was in the kitchen cookin up some yummy grub! ;)

{I am in LOVE with these coffee tables!}

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Have a beautifully, fun & magical day tomorrow with your family & friends!

Will & I are having our first Thanksgiving together as husband & wife (no family this year, except my sister is stopping by), and he’s planning on cookin up a feast!

And I can’t wait! :)

Lot’s of Love & Hugs,

Elena

“Hi, I’m Freezing.”

Went for it again today with the tri-pod!

I cannot get it to focus for anything to do close-up shots?!

Well anyway, was loving my outfit I wore to Wonderland today, I’m all about cable-knit right now, and this skirt fits the bill perfectly for my cable-knit cravings!

Minus the fact I was freezing while standing outside to take these shots, unfortunately I don’t have a cute blazer or cardi to go with this ensem, and well when I’m working in Wonderland I usually do without anyway, because I end up getting too hot from all the running around & amazing customer service I give! ;)

{This purse reminds me of french toast for some reason? Ha!}

Next, a loungy oversized cable-knit pull-over sweater!

A new hunt begins…

Hope you all had a good weekend, I’ll be out of commission for a few days recovering from minor surgery.

Nothing to fret about my peeps, I promise.

See ya soon! ;)

Plaid Maxi Skirt

While I’m waiting to pick the hubby from bart, I decided to go ahead and post my first ever shots via “tri-pod”.  And I have to say it’s a bit awkward!

Hence, why they were taken in the comfort and safety of my parking lot.

I had no idea how to set up the timer on the camera, how to focus the shots, or even know how or where to stand for that matter!

I sifted through a few of them, and all I could do was laugh out loud.

{I literally picked up these glove/mittens from Wonderland about an hour ago, just for the simple fact that they went with my skirt so perfectly, and because my hands were freezing! But honestly how cute right??}

It is pouring cats & dogs outside, and Will just texted, so I must take off and pick up the ball & chain.

Then we’re off to Ikea, grub on some pho, and maybe catch a flick? ;)

Happy Friday everyone!

You’ve got flare!

My absolute favorite look!

And this photo only reiterates my love for the flares!

I have a pair of re-issued Levi bell-bottom jeans I scored on Ebay for like  $20 a few months ago, and have been dying to wear them!!

The only reason why I haven’t, is because I need to get them hemmed! Even in my tallest of platforms, they are sill too long! :(

Hopefully one day I’ll make it down to my local dry cleaners and get those suckers hemmed!

Took my first pictures by myself with the tri-pod today.

Let’s just say it was an experience.

Will post later tonight.

Have a cozy & dry weekend! Rain all through the weekend here in the Bay!

Man, I really need those LR rain booties! ;)
