I Totally Need To Get This!

United Bamboo Cat Calendar!

Love, love, love.

Every cat lover totally needs this!

Hope you all had a good weekend, tomorrow it’s back to the grind.

Off to eat my homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes my hubby made, and watch some trashy television, “Kim & Kourtney Take New York.”

Yea I know, but I couldn’t resist.

They’re so vapid, but it’s like a car crash, I can’t help but look. :P

White

I am totally enamored with all the white that has dominated design.

Especially

the gorgeous flowing & intricate lace of Alberta Ferretti’s Spring ’11 collection from Fashion Week…

the looks from Free People’s January 2011 catalog

the new 3.1 Philip Lim bag collection…

these amazing rooms from the latest issue of Lonny Magazine.

Ahhhh….love.

Have a beautiful weekend lovelies.

Warm & Cozy: The Perfect Living Room

Came across this photo @ Delight by Design, and instantly I was transported to somewhere warm & cozy!

It’s been a bit chilly here in the Bay, the wind bites, and my nose & hands instantly ice cubes! I know what you East coasters are thinking, “What whimps! You have no clue what cold is!

And guess what? You’re right.

I get cold when it’s 60 degrees outside. Ha! ;)

I just stared at this photo imagining myself curled up on the couch, huddled under a cozy blanket with the sounds of a crackling fire, sippin on  a cup of hot apple cider, browsing through a few of my favorite fashion mags, and Mochi purring beside me.

….while the hubby was in the kitchen cookin up some yummy grub! ;)

{I am in LOVE with these coffee tables!}

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Have a beautifully, fun & magical day tomorrow with your family & friends!

Will & I are having our first Thanksgiving together as husband & wife (no family this year, except my sister is stopping by), and he’s planning on cookin up a feast!

And I can’t wait! :)

Lot’s of Love & Hugs,

Elena

I Want To Live HERE Please!

Totally makes me want to go apartment hunting.

A modern/vintage/ chic-ly decorated apartment in Madrid.

All that’s missing is a super cool cat loungin on the bed.

More outfit posts to come my lovelies! Totally scored some awesome vintage finds @ Pretty Penny today, and I must share! ;)

I Want To Live HERE Please!

While watching the Giants’ first game of the World Series (let’s do this baby!), I am simultaneously making a few quick pit stops at some of my favorite blogs for a bit of inspiration, because as of late I have been a little uninspired, or maybe more just, tired?

This home I spotted @ Delight by Design is perfectly chic.

Loving the high ceilings!

It gives me a few ideas for own home. ;)

Absolutely gorge.

Weekend is just within grasp everyone, and even though the weekends aren’t quite the same for me anymore, I actually have something to look forward to besides just going to work this Saturday.

My good friend Valerie got Will & I tickets to see West Side Story as our wedding gift (including a gift certificate to Aunt Mary’s Cafe, which is always so packed, we have yet been able to eat there!) @ the Orpheum in the City.

Yippeee!!!

Here’s to looking forward to weekends again! ;)

Just a touch…

of Asian influence, but in a more whimsical & feminine way.

When I first saw these photos of Caitlin Wilson’s home from Style Files a little while back, it was the lamps that really caught my eye!

They reminded me of the lamps we had on sale in Wonderland (or Anthro, it was before I started working there) that looked very similar. I saw them with my Cuzzo a few months back. She had pointed them out to me and thought that I should get them.

At the time I didn’t see how they would mesh with  my home decor, as most of my home furnishings are already pops of bold color themselves. I mean c’mon, I have an orange couch!

Ha!

But when I’m ready to ditch my orange couch, I think I’ll consider a white one and a more neutral palette to start with as my perfect backdrop for my pops of color! ;)

Hmm..now that I think about it, I’m diggin the pillows too.

Have a fabulous Wednesday everyone!

I Want to Live HERE Please!

{images via Style at Home, c/o of The Bedlam  of Beefy}

I am loving this “eat-in” kitchen and dining area right now! So bright and cozy at the same time. I LOVE, LOVE the idea of using a couch at the table surrounded by several architecturally pleasing, and not to mention very cool chairs.

I <3 you Uncle Beefy! I can always count on you for the “nifty” stuff! ;)

Totally doing this in my home. When and if we ever get a real house.

Ha,ha… :P

Interior Designer: Nina Gotlieb

{all images via design*sponge}

Couldn’t sleep so I decided to do some late night blog browsing. I came across this post of this beautiful New York country house (again NY you cross my path…) that completely caught my eye!  I think at first because I spotted the aluminum chairs/sheepskin throw. This past Saturday we bought 4 aluminum chairs from a guy who was starting his “new life”, and needed to get rid of a few of his things on Craigslist (hi David, good luck with that new life of yours!)  for a really good deal.  We purchased them for our dining table, and also have used sheepskin throws on the back of 2 of the chairs, so that first picture really called to me! ;)

The interior was designed by Nina Gotlieb, and I love how this country home has a bit of an industrial feel, which reflects perfectly against all of the warm wood tones.  It’s like cold meets warm. And the abundance of natural light in this home is amazing! I can only imagine the gorgeous surroundings on the outside! And check out those adorable face pillows in the bedroom photo. Too cute! :)

Have a great week everyone!
