An Anthropologie Wedding

That’s right folks, if you haven’t received your email newsletter yet, Anthropologie (a.k.a Wonderland) has launched it’s wedding line,

called BHLDN {beholden}.

There’s always been talk about Anthro doing a wedding line, but nothing was really confirmed until the Spring of last year.

Right now there is only a sneak peak of a video to tease your senses, but the line will include vintage inspired wedding gowns, head pieces, jewelry, shoes, and bridesmaid dresses to complete your perfect Anthropologie Wedding.

The complete line will debut on February 14th 2011,

Valentines Day.

How perfect.

If only I had waited just a few more months!

From Miss to Mrs. :)

Yes that is right my peeps, I have joined the “married club”! ;)

It was a long time comin, and it was all done in 6 hours!

2 years of engagement and planning, and it’s done within hours?!!

Amazing.

It had been a stressful 2 months up until just a few days before the big day. I didn’t know if my dad would be walking me down the aisle or not?! He hasn’t been doin so hot as of late, which was the root cause of all my stress & anxiety, and emotional rollercoaster.

Well he did. And I couldn’t have been happier.

In a strange way, I’m glad it’s behind me now, and that I can get back to my “normal” life. I’m ready for the next phase of my life and to get back on track with a few things I’d like to accomplish. To re-focus, and honestly to just enjoy every moment of life with my family, friends, and now huuz…bund (husband).

Did I really just say that? It still doesn’t roll off the tongue, but I do smile every time I say it. :)

Still waiting for the official wedding pictures, but wanted to share a few shots from our wedding day. These pictures were taken by Will’s very good friend Ed.

Thanks Ed for letting me borrow a few. ;)

I can’t wait until we get our wedding photos. It’ll be interesting to see what Loic (He was so helpful, in more ways than just taking pictures! Thank you Loic! You were totally awesome!) was able to capture. I hope there are a few good shots he was able to get, as the weather did not cooperate on our wedding day.

The weather had been beautiful in the Bay, and on our wedding day it was suppose to be nice & clear, about 70-75 degrees. But instead it was cold, windy, and foggy (and the whole reason why we chose our venue was because of the view!).

It is San Francisco after all, but geez couldn’t you’ve held out just for one more day???!

Here’s to all my “Married Club” members! ;)

……and not to break routine!

My Outfit:

1. Wedding gown by Jenny Packham from Marina Morrison, S.F.

2. Jewelry by Badgley Mischka from Bloomys

3. Stuart Weitzman “Avalon” glitter heels (never found my Louboutin’s, but these did the job perfectly! They are my Cinderella shoes! :) )

4.  “Penelope” hair clip by Lo Boheme from their Etsy shop

Eeeek!

So tomorrow is my first fitting for my wedding dress! It arrived at Marina Morrison a few weeks ago. Just this past Tuesday was I able to get back to the seamstress, Janine and squeeze my fitting in (just 2 hours before my shift starts @ Anthro)!

My schedule for Wonderland is always different, and usually right in the middle of the day, and mixed with my other job, it was a bit difficult to find the time to confirm a date!

So I’ll be nipped & tucked (Hopefully not let out! OMG! Can you imagine?) tomorrow, and I haven’t lost one pound or toned one muscle since the day I ordered my dress!

I’ve made attempts here and there, nothing consistent, and now feel the pressure to really get my butt in shape!

UGH!

Time to suck it in! ;)

Have a fab weekend everyone!

Pretty, pretty Mo

She acts like she doesn’t love the camera, but…

We met with a photographer for our wedding tonight, and really liked what we saw.

One more consultation to go with another photographer, then we’ll make our final decision.

I hope everyone had a beautiful Monday.

Sneak Peek!

Thanks to a talented high school kid named Charlie Purdom, me and my Rodarte for Target dress were finally able to be together! I had seen so many other bloggers featuring this exact same dress when this line came out, that I just didn’t feel like taking any pictures in it, that is…until now!

Charlie took a few quick shots of me just so that I could post a few pics for my blog as we were coming to the end of our shoot for our wedding website. He didn’t get the boots, but that’s ok, just from these shots alone I can tell this kid has a photographer’s eye!

And he lives in the most beautiful neighborhood I have ever seen, which made for such a pretty setting.

{By the end of the day, my dress started to ride up, as you can tell! Ha, ha! I kept having to remember to pull it down underneath my belt! I obviously forgot to do that when I took these shots.}

Thanks again Charlie!

Keep your eye out for this kid…

he’s going places! ;)

My Outfit:

1. Rodarte for Target mustard-colored dress

2. My Steve Madden “birthday” boots (not shown)

3. Vintage bracelets thrifted

4. Marc by Marc Jacobs Owl ring from Bloomys

5. Brown corseted belt from Anthro

6. My engagement ring!

I Don’t Wanna Grow Up…

I’m a…

Ha, ha… just kidding!

Kinda.

{I think I need to get the white J.Campbell Tick booties? What do ya think?}

{images via, I forget??! If you know please tell me!}

RE-started my “wedding day workout” last night and went jogging.

I hate jogging.

There’s nothing else that makes me feel more old than working out. It only reminds me of how out of shape I am. It was complete torture. Not to mention my ears were burning of excruciating pain, I think from the cold, and my face was tingly. And this morning I’m sore and feel about 80 (there are probably more elderly people out there that are in better shape than I)!

But, I must forge through and stick to it. Wedding day is less than 8 months away, and originally I had a “One Year Workout” plan to get ready for it.

Yea, I should have known that wouldn’t be the case.

I can remember the days when I didn’t need to exercise, I swear this slowing of the metabolism happens out of nowhere?! One day you’re young, loving life, eating Fruit Loops and Cheeetos (I still do this. I think I’m in denial), and then BAM!

You’re older, chubbier, and need to get your butt to the gym!

Happy Tuesday everybody!

My “Honey-Do” List, per Will.

So according to my fiance Will, apparently I need to start “thinking” (a.k.a make it happen) about our bills…

{image via google images}

…and our wedding, more specifically the flower girl dress (she is one of his best friend’s daughter, and I’m assuming this conveniently came up over a game of Madden).

{images via J.Crew & .la douleur exquise.}

Believe me I understand I shouldn’t be complaining, as I’m sure it’s pretty much a given the groom isn’t quite as interested in wedding planning as much as the bride! So instead of fighting it, I went with it. So sometime in the near future I will be sitting down with a nice cup of coffee with ivory satin, ostrich feathers, shades of pretty pinks, lushes flowers, and *sparkle* on the brain!

For the record, I did do a little online browsing here and there (Will can confirm this, as I sent him links via IM chat), then took a break and decided to view my daily blogs. And was totally reminded of my Cinderella shoes for my wedding when I came across this post from Apartment #34. Remember this post a few months ago?

It only reconfirmed that I MUST attain my gorgeously perfect pair of Louboutins for my wedding! But I’m not willing to pay full price for them (mom are you listening??), which is why I have been scouring Ebay for about a year now!

So I will make another plea to the beautiful shoe gods out there…please, please send me my pair of Christian Louboutin Glitter Slingbacks in Silver, size 8!

Wouldn’t it be so adorable if my little flower girl wore these to match?

I will have to agree with my ladies at dress, design & decor and Apartment #34

Gorgeous and Fabulous for the perfect wedding!

Nuff said.

Happy Weekend!

Wedding Dress on the brain…cont’d.

I have been coveting these Christian Louboutin silver glitter slingback heels for over a year! I swear they are hard to find! I was completely reminded of them when I came across this post [which I cannot find at the moment] of another lady who wore my coveted CL’s on her wedding day. Aren’t they the perfect bit of sparkle that every girl needs to complete her glamorous wedding look? ;) [I swear I'm going to look like a disco ball on my wedding day! Lol...]

My Cinderella shoes!

And this beautiful flower hair piece that Jennifer Garner wore for a spread in InStyle magazine earlier this year.  Simply gorgeous!

I’m sure this hair piece is waaay out of reach for me, but curious to know who created this lovely piece? Does anyone know?

Wedding dress on the brain!

So even though I have already chosen and purchased my Jenny Packham wedding dress [which I love by the way], I am still a bit lost as to how I want to style my dress. I am going for a modern version of  “Old Hollywood Glamour”, and have ostrich feathers, rhinestones and pearls on the brain!

I came across these lovely images, which are true inspirations of Chic glamour! :)
