What I’m Lovin NOW: Mania Mania

How freakin cool is this jewelery collection??!!

Just learned of Mania Mania by Tamila Purvis through Shopbop’s FB fan page where they took a few street style shots during their visit to Australia’s Fashion Week!

I am in love with all of her pieces, and can’t stop staring at her beautiful designs as I sop up my drool puddles!

{The Alchemy Necklace $280}

{Stalactite Cuff $400}

{The Initiation Necklace $240}

{Immortals Ring $300}

And these lovely shots were taken from Platform via Garance Dore.

I love how all these pieces were all worn at once!

Complete, Heaven. :)

If you decide to purchase one of these gorgeous pieces, please keep me in your thoughts.

What I’m Lovin NOW: Mini Fashionistas

Style Piccoli June 2009

Style Piccoli June 2009

The Most Famous Mini Fashionista of 2009

{Two fashionable brothers sport’in their Stella McCartney for Gap Kid’s band jackets.}

They are just way too cool for their own good.

Gwen and her always stylish little Kingston

I’m not sure if it’s because my biological clock is ticking, or because Will and I will be babysitting my co-workers kids tomorrow night (they’re seeing Train by the way, so jealous!), but I have been having a case of “babies on the brain” since this post.

Not to mention my good friend Val and I have been planning our other good friend Fumiko’s baby shower that is coming up in May. Since I am definitely in total baby overload, I thought it only appropriate to post these adorable (and of course fashionable) photos from 2009 – present.

How can you resist these “Mini Fashionistas”?!

Maybe they can give me a few style pointers. ;)

What I’m Lovin NOW: Alice + Olivia Fall 2010

{images via Shoptalk Shopbop’s blog}

After seeing these insanely gorgeous “moody-esque” photos from Shopbop’s blog Shoptalk, “Standout Fall Show: Alice + Olivia“, I have been obsessing over the collection!

I knew I had to hunt down more photos of these beautiful creations (and just when I thought I was over Fall) and share them with the rest of you.

I love the delicate palette of nudes, pale pinks, oatmeal & creams mixed with the darker tones of  the staple black, chocolate browns & different shades of gray. They are all together delectable, and of course it wouldn’t be an Alice + Olivia collection without the whimsy! ;)

a few of my favorites (the black & gold sequin jacket is to die for!)…

I Want to Live HERE Please!

{images via Style at Home, c/o of The Bedlam  of Beefy}

I am loving this “eat-in” kitchen and dining area right now! So bright and cozy at the same time. I LOVE, LOVE the idea of using a couch at the table surrounded by several architecturally pleasing, and not to mention very cool chairs.

I <3 you Uncle Beefy! I can always count on you for the “nifty” stuff! ;)

Totally doing this in my home. When and if we ever get a real house.

Ha,ha… :P

For more images of this beautiful home visit Uncle Beefy or go to Style at Home.

What I’m Lovin NOW: Stockholm Street Style

{all images via STOCKHOLM Street Style}

I am totally loving this site right now! I’ve never seen so many people sport’n some of my most coveted fashion loves all at once! Most of STOCKHOLM Street Style’s images are of fashion show attendees, models off duty (running from one show to another), and industry parties and gatherings. So you will definitely see some of the most stylish people around for some great fashion inspiration!

Take a quick peek for yourself! ;)

Have a marvelous weekend everyone!

Where I Want To Live NOW

{all images via design sponge}

This house is absolutely gorgeous! I am in love! This Northwestern Portland home was designed by Jessica Helgerson for a young and modern family who had a 100-year old home that needed a little tender love and care. For more images of this beautiful home click here.

Has everyone gotten all their Christmas shopping done?? I’ll be posting on my little DIY holiday project that was inspired by Bugs & Fish by Lupin soon! :)

Wish me luck!

I Heart New York.

N.Y. November '05

It’s been a little over 4 years since I’ve been back to New York, and I miss it deeply. Will and I were planning on spending Christmas and NYE there, but unfortunately plans changed. Funds are super tight, and well…..he decided to post-pone the trip. I have only been to New York once in my life, and went by myself, not knowing anyone. It was the best decision I could have ever made. I explored the city to the fullest of my ability and as far as my cold & tired feet would take me. Even though I knew no one, somehow when I arrived, I just felt like I was home.  I anticipated being too scared to venture out and would spend most of my time in my room. I stayed in Soho, at Chelsea Lodge, which is a great little brownstone, that makes you feel like you’re living there, instead of like a tourist at a common hotel. And they have great affordable rates. I stayed for $99/night which is such a great deal in NY. I would highly recommend staying there if you take a trip to New York.

I feel the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys song, “Empire State of Mind” describes the feeling and energy of New York perfectly. Everytime I hear it when it comes on the radio I can’t help but sing along [to Miss Key's part...lol], and it instantly puts me in a good mood. :)

I’ll be back one day N.Y.!
